From October 26-27, 2015, the John Jay College of Criminal Justice and the Laura and John Arnold Foundation (LJAF), held a Roundtable to Develop a National Pretrial Research Agenda as a follow-up to its earlier Roundtable in March 2015, which focused on pretrial practice and ways of rethinking the front end of the criminal justice system.
Financial Literacy: The Role of the Workplace

On March 17, 2015, GAO convened a select group of leaders and experts for a forum focusing on financial education in the workplace. The participants discussed the role of the employer in promoting financial literacy, the effectiveness of such efforts, how best to serve low-income and other underserved populations, and the federal government’s role in supporting these efforts.
