I am primarily a social conservative, and am not a libertarian when it comes to fiscal issues. The income tax relief promised to the middle and working classes may have raised the standard deduction, but it also eliminated the personal exemption which was good for families. I think that large, publicly held corporations should pay as much attention to their employees as they do to their stockholders. As the saying goes, to those to whom much has been given, much will be demanded. That's right and proper.
